Genesis 3:22
And the LORD God said, "The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever."
If the man had absorbed the knowledge of good and evil and was like a God then the man would have been good as God is.
Why would God deny a good man immortality. As a good man, he would get to Heaven anyway.
If man was not to become as a God, why did God give us the tool of the tree of good and evil.
This tree, the Bible leads us all to being good. We are in fact asked by the Bible to become as Jesus. Perfect.
Why deny “the man” immortality at that point in time?

Wild conjecture.samuelbb7 wrote:I see GOD looking through His entire universe and seeing no sin. For all those who choose sin will be gone. They will no longer exist.
You see if GOD allows those who love sin into heaven they will hate it. For they will have to give up what they love more then life itself. They will be subject to all that they wished to avoid in life. They will be tortured by the praises of those who love the GOD they hate. They would never have peace and be in constant torment.
Satan, if you believe he exists was quite happy in Heaven till God sent him to pester man therefore good and evil are quite happy together in Heaven.
Further, nowhere in scripture does God just destroy souls.
He would not because they are Perfect.
Do you see God creating something imperfect?

Strange God who creates souls and natures that wish death.samuelbb7 wrote:First I am not a Calvinist. My tradition is Weslayn and Lutheran.
It is important that GOD allow people to get what they wish for. Many wish to not exist. So they will.
Why would God create such strangeness in one of His own?

If we were then we would loose our individuality.samuelbb7 wrote:How many people commit suicide every year? It is a fact. How many people live in a way that will shorten their life?
We are a soul.
You have yours, I have mine.
As to your other lamentations, why not do what your Bible tells you to do?
There will be wars and rumors ets.
A man of faith should be able to follow God's instructions here.
Then again your faith is flawed if you see God destroying perfectly good souls.

Why?

I do look forward to the coming of JESUS.As to your other lamentations, why not do what your Bible tells you to do?
Yes there are. There will be wars and rumors ets.
True.A man of faith should be able to follow God's instructions here.
Actually no. The souls have chosen to bind themselves to sin. They have chosen the way of death. But since you do not believe the Bible there is no true basis of dispute on which to base our discussion. Then again your faith is flawed if you see God destroying perfectly good souls.

If, in following these God given gifts, then it can be said that God screwed either the soul or the nature.
If He did then He loses the right to judge because He has failled to make all of His works Perfect.
Scripture indicates that all of God's works are Perfect.
That being the case it is in our best interest to follow our natures to their ultimate end. God would not supply natures that are to be fought or ignored.

Which is a point I do not accept. It seems that you believe we have an immortal soul. Something I do not accept. We develop our own natures after we are born. So your assumption is incorrect.God provides our souls and natures.
Since our souls are developed by us as we grow and change. That does not work. If, in following these God given gifts, then it can be said that God screwed either the soul or the nature.
Since he did not make our souls and he did not make us the way we are then your assumption is incorrect. He does give us a standard to live by. When we fail that standard we will be judged. If He did then He loses the right to judge because He has failled to make all of His works Perfect.
To get the nature GOD wants to have we Must be Born again to gain a new Christlike nature. The HOLY SPIRIT establishes in us a New heart by the His power.Scripture indicates that all of God's works are Perfect.

I usually follow a logic line. You should try it.
The standard that God provides if you read the Bible literally is that for one, genocide is allowed and good to use as far as God is concerned. The Flood.
Is this the standard you would like us to emulate. How about the killing of unruly children. How about killing those who do not do the sabbath.
Get serious EH.

Dear EH
Well you can say that. I thought that pointing out that humans do evil and terrible things to each other and saying that it was the will of GOD we do so when He is a GOD of love. Was a logical argument. You are good at telling me I am wrong everywhere but you offer nothing to change my mind.
I Do.I usually follow a logic line. You should try it.
True the Bible does show GOD as a judge will destroy evil. When men come to the point that all they wish to do and think on is evil. Then GOD will hold them accountable for their actions. It is logical to me that the Judge of all will do right. He will punish the wicked. YOu seem to think he will reward the wicked by letting them live in bliss. That does not seem Logical to me.The standard that God provides if you read the Bible literally is that for one, genocide is allowed and good to use as far as God is concerned. The Flood.
Well today we lock them up in prisons where they can become worse. Is that better? We are speaking of the children who join street gangs here. Do you think that thugs should be give a free pass to do evil? As for the Sabbath. I am a Sabbath keeper on the day set aside by GOD. He will judge those who decided to tell GOD they are smarter and wiser then him and can change and do as they please anytime. But he will judge and execute. Is this the standard you would like us to emulate. How about the killing of unruly children. How about killing those who do not do the sabbath.

You must have some twisted mind to go to a planet, think that 8 out of billions should be the standard of a species and destroy the billions and keep 8. Twisted.samuelbb7 wrote:Dear EH

Scripture indicates that all of Gods works are Perfect.
How do you explain that only 8 out of billions were Perfect and the rest of God's works was flawed.
If you are to embrace genocide then you should not have a problem explaining God's lack of Perfection in the works alive at that time.
