you have to understand him first goat, hes the king of logical fallacies.he only sees the argument infront of him and never looks forward to what he might be actually saying.judging from the way he argued in my other topic i was actually hoping hed do something like this.
with the argument of scribal errors he has admited the bible to be errant.if the bible is errant then it can not be the word of god.if its not the word of god then what purpose is there for relating it to god.
if it is the word of god and god allowed the errors to be put into the bible then he cannot blame anyone for not understanding the bible given its contradictions and scribal errors.
but we know that not to be true so it must just be a book written by men for the purpose of men that has long outlived its usefullness.

Can't fall and can't burst 'cuz goat says they can't ? Cuz goat can't imagine they can ? Cuz goat duzn't want one to ? Duzn't want this one too ?
Hanging bodies can't fall headlong ?
Can fall backlong ?

Can burst open except on the side ?
Can we help bursting with laughter at this "contradiction" ?
Is even a preschooler at as silly a level intellectually as either goat or goat's teachers ?
Is that a "cheapshot" (or can we pretend it's one) or is it really fact that hanging bodies can't possibly fall ?
If sloths and bacteria can generate over time people, at least in one's fantasies, can one even fantasize a hung human body falling and breaking open ?

From my reading, including of astronomical, calendar, as well as Bible study: He was born probably around October 5 or 4 BC. (i forget which right now. Can get back to you asap).
If your broader question is what date do the nativity stories share? they don't use our calendar. For instance, they don't write "5 BC" or "such and such AD."
Some of the many clues include the years it took for the temple to be built (John), the mention of Caesar and governors and age of Jesus in Luke, the death and succession of rulers in Matthew. It's really fun to place all 4 Gospels side by side. Which i'm willing to help you guys with. One warning, in case you need it or can't see it for yourself is that the Gospels aren't video cameras. Running 24 hours a day, stationed over Jesus and all over Israel, and running 365 days a year. Nor are they meant to be. Nor need they be

Show, using the text of one of the two stories, how the other of the stories is feasible.
To try to say 'they both happened' is twisting both .. since the way both the stories are written, they are mutually exclusive to each other. Of course, if you want to deny that..well, that tells me the quality of your belief.
“What do you think science is? There is nothing magical about science. It is simply a systematic way for carefully and thoroughly observing nature and using consistent logic to evaluate results. So which part of that exactly do you disagree with? Do you disagree with being thorough? Using careful observation? Being systematic? Or using consistent logic?

Why ?show me where there is an indication in either of the stories anything about the other story.
What difference does that make ?
In your mind Luke's s'pose to reference Matthew's Gospel ?
Include it ?
Matthew's s'pose to be longer ?
How much longer ?
It's not the way you woulda written it ?
Well that's impressive as a point
Okay. The chief priests did. Mt 27. Which is even what Zechariah wrote about half a millenium before. Zechariah 11. (And religious Jews then felt Zechariah had the spirit of Jeremiah, in case you want to get into that.) Peter, in Acts 1, also references the OT on Judas. Psalm 41. There's an explicit connection. For example, explain who paid for the field.
If i buy something with your money, especially when i regard the money as defiled cuz it's expressly yours (cf Mt 27), then, in point of fact to me, U buy it (cf Acts 1:18).
In Psalm 69 and 109, quoted in the same conversation by Peter in Acts 1, also Judas' apostleship "became desolate" and "let another take." Twice Peter uses the pronoun "his" for the dead Judas' position in Acts 1:20.
Any contradiction in the 2 or 3 separate accounts of Judas' death is.......................
invisible. There was no contradiction. There is none. And there can be none, no matter how much a fourth-grader or so fantasizes or wants to make one
i already did. And you even already admitted they are. Hung bodies can fall. Falling bodies can burst. Blood can come out. Buying something with your money, even after you in disgust throw your money back at me, makes the thing bought, especially if i want it to be: YOURS.Show, using the text of one of the two stories, how the other of the stories is feasible.
Any real contradiction here is how anyone could possibly insist there must be a contradiction.
To the contrary of your falsehood: Acts 1 doesn't read: "Judas didn't hang himself."To try to say 'they both happened' is twisting both .. since the way both the stories are written, they are mutually exclusive to each other.
Nor does it require it. Nor does it suggest it. Nor does it imply it. In point of fact, it allows for it. Since in the realm of physics, it's just possible that a hung body can fall. Unless you're retracting your admission. Even if you're redacting your admission !
Man, please don't mess up this thread anymore, if at all possible you can control yourself. Though of course i disagree with the word "contradiction" in the OP, at least i half-way know where he's coming from. And he otherwise wrote it well and specifically. But you just seem silly because Matthew 27 doesn't read: "Judas' body didn't fall." It doesn't read: "he couldn't have fallen." If your preconception/fantasy Bible contradicts: that's one thing. The real Bible, however, doesn't.Of course, if you want to deny that..well, that tells me the quality of your belief.
Thanks

There is very little mention of the Adversary's spiritual kingdom in the Old Testament and God took the blame. The secrecy of the Devil and his host of devil spirits was revealed when Christ came and which can be seen in the Gospels.
