I apologise if this has been asked before (and it seems to me the obvious answer is yes) but I still want to clarify this: Does Lucifer have free will?
Further, does Lucifer have the knowledge of good and evil? Again, I apologise if this is a silly question.
And I am not out to nitpick this one; I genuinely want to know the answer. I may have a follow-up question that seems like a nitpick and an attempt to find a contradiction, but actually it would be an attempt to resolve it.
Does Lucifer have Free Will?

Re: Does Lucifer have Free Will?
The visibility of God is demonstrated by the person Jesus.Who said if you have seen me you have seen the Father.
So Lucifer would have to recognize Jesus as the presence of God the invisible.I do not think that would be different in heaven .Denial is found in 2 Pe.2 and Jude where the rebellion migrated to Earth and some teachers were distributing their teachings of denial of God and son.
Futhermore Lucifer as I have discovered is mistranslated .One reference is,"The Name Lucifer Has Never Belonged To Satan"By Frank W. Neite.Dec.1995. His research is on the net.Because of a mistranslation long ago it is commonly accepted that Lucifer and Satan are one and the same.
The Job verse you point out is really intended for those who do not understand that God is omnipresent .But,I do not doubt that Satan has been on Earth.
As the story continues God made a deal with the Satan by proxy to defeat Job.And how many lives were destroyed from the deal just to see if Job will flinch?Really? To me,I believe the story was crafted to embellish God regardless of authenticity.
Again,Lucifer rejected his faith in God by claiming himself as the one who sits in authority in heaven.Isa.14.12-13
This was an attempt to overthrow the the seated authority. Is this not understood as rejecting faith in God?

Post #12Once a being has eternal life, it cannot be "disqualified".
A being with everlasting life, lives forever.
Everlasting life requires no maintenance.
Nothing can terminate it.
Re: Does Lucifer have Free Will?
So do you believe Lucifer's name, remains/ will remain in the book of life ,a record of living creatures ?
If his name is not in the book of life what book is he in for all to see if you say he is still living or will continue to ?
Lucifer couldn't live in hell , he would be conscious thus living thus he remains among the names written in the book of life.Right or wrong?
If anyone is not found in the book of life ,a record book of living creatures, what book is there for recording one to continue to live life and remain conscious ?

Re: Does Lucifer have Free Will?
Post #14The book of life is not a list of all living creatures.
My cat Fluffy is not in it -- to my knowledge. And what about all of the nameless creatures? Are they listed as "unknowns?"
Lucifer, Satan, or the devil is mentioned in the scriptures as the only being to be tormented day and night for ever and ever in the lake of fire:
And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. (Revelation 20:10)
Wrong.
Lucifer is an immortal spiritual being whose name is certainly not in the book of life.
The book of life contains the names of Christians, or believers. It is a list of those who shall inherit everlasting life:
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him, should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)
No one with their name in the book of life presently has everlasting life. They will receive everlasting life at the Second Coming. It is akin to a will. Those named in the book of life will inherit everlasting life when the will or covenant is probated at the Second Coming:
Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, his reward is with him... (Isaiah 62:11)
And behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me... (Revelation 22:12)
No man is born with everlasting life. We are born mortal, and may choose to gain everlasting life.
There is none.
===================================================
The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ ... (Romans 8:16-17)
Those whose names are written in the Book of Life will be born again as everlasting spiritual bodied beings at the Second Coming.
Those whose names are not written in the Book of Life shall be cast into the lake of fire and quickly perish -- never to live again.

The book of life is not a book of those who have received eternal life where by the book has names added to daily.
The book of life contains all the living from birth and sin will cause the name of someone to be removed.Ex.32.32, Da.12.1
Many think they may continue to live without their name in the book of life
Non believers shall perish Jo.3.16. Perish Defined-suffer complete ruin or destruction.Suffer death.
We cannot continue to go on living ,remain conscious,if we suffer death

Re: Does Lucifer have Free Will?
You have asked some very profound questions. The answers to these questions have far greater depth and scope than most understand. I will attempt to answer each in their order. However we should first understand that all of your questions play into vital parts of God’s plan for eternal life and exaltation.

I apologize if this has been asked before (and it seems to me the obvious answer is yes) but I still want to clarify this: Does Lucifer have free will?”
My response:
I would first comment that God’s plan “is one Eternal Round”. Putting it another way, this earth which we dwell on is not an experiment for us alone. God has created millions of earths like this earth. Each of those earths are in various stages of their existence and progress. To my understanding we are not given details of other earths, but only relating to our earth.
The scriptures are very clear that God is the Father of all the spirits of mankind. Having said that, we are to understand that we lived first in Heaven as spirit children of an Eternal being. This marvelous gift of agency was given to all of God’s spirit children in our premortal earth life. As we matured in our first estate and prepared to come to this earth to receive a physical body we could only receive this by passing through a condition of birth by mortal parents. As we entered this process, we all had this premortal knowledge taken from our memories. As I understand it, that through birth, we were now prepared to be tested in a new environment out of God’s presence. Each and every one of us now had to learn by faith to use this marvelous power and gift of continued use of agency as a part and parcel of our eternal growth and progress.
Each of us has this mighty power of agency with it’s attendant consequences.
WE ARE FREE TO CHOOSE, BUT ARE NOT FREE TO CHOOSE THE CONSEQUENCES.
I suspect that this was both very exciting and terrifying for each of us.
With this mighty God given power of agency we could either choose to follow God’s laws to receive salvation, glory, exaltation and eternal life (Titus 1:2 (which was promised us before the world) and we could then qualify to 2 Peter 1:4 “become partakers of the divine nature” .
On the other hand we could by this same power sink to the lowest depths of depravity and sin and thereby forfeit the highest blessings God our Father.
Now this all brings up a very powerful question.
Could all this be achieved without a powerful equal balance of the power of opposition???
I have only responded to your first question. I will further respond to your other questions in future posts.
Kind regards,
RW

Chapter and verse please. If you have none then it's obvious this is all a creation of your mind, or those you're listening to.The scriptures are very clear that God is the Father of all the spirits of mankind. Gotta say this is getting more bizarre the more you continue. Got any evidence at all?As we matured in our first estate and prepared to come to this earth to receive a physical body we could only receive this by passing through a condition of birth by mortal parents. Post #18Free Will ,
No other being ,force, creator,or agency can interfere to any degree with the mortal free will as it operates in the realm of choice regarding the eternal destiny of the choosing mortal.
Some have defined free will in another way
