Simple question:
Is Christianity still taught the same today as 'it' was in the days of Jesus?
Less than 100 years ago, in some parts of America (at least) inter-racial marriage was a sin.
In some parts of South America Catholics have adopted a more 'pagan-like' (my words) worshiping of Christianity than their North American counterparts.
Even the Pope has changed how Christianity views things very recently compared to how they were viewed in the past 50 or so years (see below for your reading pleasure).
So is Christianity taught and understood the same today as it was centuries ago?
If not, has it changed for the better or worse?

JW
What are your holy days, then? Are they the 7 feasts of God?
We don't interpret scripture as you do.
- The way we see it, the first century Christians did not live under obligation to meet on any particular day of the week, since there is no Christian law stating that this MUST be the case. On the contrary, Paul spoke about refraining from judging regarding religious observations of particular days and seasons. Christians were taught that they were no longer under obligation to keep a weekly Sabbath to have God's approval since "Christ was the end of the law". That said it was not a sin to meet for worship on any particular day, so the first day of the Jewish week would have been as good a day as any, so any mention of them meeting on this day is purely incidental.
