Seems Donald Trump has an ever diminishing pool of potential running mates. He has already personally insulted many of his Republican rivals. He has said things that would draw warnings, probation, suspension then banishment on our site, for personal attacks.
He says "well they attack me first, so I hit them back ten times as hard".
Truth? No they have not attacked him, just his policies and/or ignorance and inexperience. Trump in turn has attacked his opponents personally.
So, who's it gonna be for Trumps running mate, if he wins the nomination?
Now he's even insulting John Kasich. One less potential VP right there...
SO the debate question, who can Trump choose that he has not already insulted?
Trump's running mate...

Trump's running mate...
Post #1 My theological positions:
-God created us in His image, not the other way around.
-The Bible is redeemed by it's good parts.
-Pure monotheism, simple repentance.
-YHVH is LORD
-The real Jesus is not God, the real YHVH is not a monster.
-Eternal life is a gift from the Living God.
-Keep the Commandments, keep your salvation.
-I have accepted YHVH as my Heavenly Father, LORD and Savior.
I am inspired by Jesus to worship none but YHVH, and to serve only Him.

I have to disagree with you there, although there remain so many things that could tip the scales either way.
Both candidates have record opposition yet a good base of solid support.
Trump has already done what no one thought he could or would, and is no pushover.
Clinton is not trusted and not believed by so many, and is old school and status quo.
There is such a groundswell for change that Trump and Sanders have tapped into very well. Sanders voters will be torn, and will split, some for Clinton and some for Trump.
Just my 2 cents worth.
Who she panders to in her bid for POTUS may not reflect much once she is elected, which I am pretty sure she will be.

I'm hesitant to conclude much of anything, I doubt we, the general public, know enough about what's actually happening to draw a conclusion. Yeah I'm cynical :/Checkpoint wrote: [Replying to post 10 by Hamsaka]

Yes. He certainly has, um, exceeded my expectations, which weren't even very high! Both candidates have record opposition yet a good base of solid support.

She's a professional politician. Have we in the last forty years had a presidential candidate that didn't have some kind of controversy, be it media-generated or actual?Clinton is not trusted and not believed by so many, and is old school and status quo.
She has my vote mainly because I see her as maintaining the status quo. This 'new' status quo is well done by. Consolidating it, if nothing else, can only make what changes Obama's brought forth solidify. We need the stability, not too many big changes (except to healthcare). Something has to be done with the Christian Right, even if it's just more time to ignore their political shenanigans and encourage them to take care of their own problems instead of making problems for the rest of us (repealing non discrimination laws and such).
"Change" is like losing weight. If done slowly, chances are the weight loss will 'stick' because new and better habits are being generated and tested and tried. It gives people time to adjust. There is such a groundswell for change that Trump and Sanders have tapped into very well. Folks need time to adjust to the latest developments in our culture wars, especially. Let the far right tire themselves out and annoy people to tears and beyond, while this new extended tolerance to yet another minority -- this one created by the Christian Right -- is settled into.
I know people want some kind of change, but things won't change for the better due to reactive and impulsive change. I honestly don't know enough to add my voice to 'we need serious change!' . It just looks like the same ole same ole reactionary, short-sighted ignorance. Not even our fault we're ignorant, it's hard to figure out what's going on even if you KNOW what's going on.
