Is it entirely unnecessary and insulting to inform people...That they are evil in the sight of GOD and bound for hell?

As a human being, how is such theology acceptable and a good and reasonable thing to be stating or even implying of others, on a debate forum or even in day to day life?

Are people right to be able to take a stand against such theology and call it out for being dated, dark, based upon information from dark ages, based in ignorance and evil of intent?

What gives individuals the right to say such things about others?

Is it a form of abuse?

Should others have to take that kind of abuse about their persons without protesting it?

Jesus preached a very psychotic view of people. He imagined people to be evil wretches that deserved to be burned forever. Of course telling people that they are evil like this is an insult, but more than that, it is simply flat-out wrong. People actually are generally good and deserve to be treated with respect, mercy, and kindness.

What hits home about your question for me is how some of the Christians in this forum have griped about skeptics "hurling insults" at their beliefs and TIMITS. Yet they seem to be totally blind to the insulting nature of their own religion. Jesus is quoted in the gospel as routinely insulting those who disagreed with him.

So no, nobody should take that abuse lying down. If Jesus did preach that we deserve to go to hell, then let's tell his followers what a liar and psychopath he really was.

Unless a person is actually evil, (as opposed to an otherwise good person who happens to hold the "wrong" theology or belief system) then yes, it seems to me that it is wrong and presumptuous to tell others they are "lost", evil or going to hell.

At the very least, using the "stick" of the threat of hell, as oppsed to the "carrot" of Heaven is most often ineffective. And very often the negative tactic is off-putting, obnoxious and counter-productive.

My friend this is where we must be. The first day you have go to school, who is that person in front the class room? A TEACHER.

The teacher know what to teached, and the students must learn. So we have only one TEACHER and that is Jesus. He has teached all the apostles, and gives us a warning about the writters in the Bible. Read John 17.

So this is for all who read and ask for they self, if they are listen to their TEACHER Jesus. Jesus says: " THINK NOT that I come the destroy the law, or the prophets: I am come to destroy but fulfill."

Why then the most Christians believes that Jesus dead on the cross has put an End tho His Father law?

And when someone who can proofs their wrong beliefs, they go against them. Isn't it that Jesus says, 'DON'T THINK'

FOR JESUS AND ALL THE WRITTERS IN THE BIBLE, AND OTHERS WHO HAVE WRITE ACCORDING TO THE BIBLE, MUST SAY THE TRUTH.

Jesus says the world will hate you because of me. There will be no human right in front our Lord Jesus Christ and His Father.

And also read Ephesians 6:10:18. It doesn't matter if they bang you. WORSHIP the SON and HIS FATHER the Almighty GOD.

My friend if you and anyone are believed in God, that is one standard. If Jesus say don't think, why you are going to think? It count for every person who proclaimed to be a Christian. So again HUMAN rights is for people from this world. TRUE Christians right is have fait in Jesus and keep His Commandments. Don't mix worldly issues with SPIRIT issues. Jesus says in the book of John: "I'm not from this world and they also are not from this world. If someone believes that they church has the truth, it is for you and me to see if what they say is in accordance with the scriptures. By the way, don't you know that there will be only two groups of people in the End? The scheaps and the goats. Ask yourself now in which you are.

Use your brain with any knowledge who can you bring to Jesus foot. Christianity is not about using brains. It is all about the Holy Spirit in you who talk himself trough you. People who hate is not mature yet. Jesus says love your enemy and pray for the one who is after you.

I find it a form of amusement on two different levels. The first is that the person making this attack actually believes both in god and that a mythological place they call hell exists.

If this weren't enough, the second is that they actually think a rational person who has rejected both mythologies is actually going to be worried by their empty scare tactic. As has been stated by others, the threat of god sending me to hell worries me as much as a hippy threatening to punch me in my aura.

It most certainly does reveal something about the character of the person threating another with hell, however. This reality is much less amusing. Of course given that this behavior is modeled after the god they follow, it isn't surprising to see some resort to it.

The real threat is realizing that someone who has decided some individuals deserve to suffer eternally, won't hesitate to take action against those individuals to cause them to suffer now especially when they consider themselves an agent of god.

My friend if you are a Christian, then study the Bible for yourself. If you are not a Christian study the Bible for yourself. And when you have read it you can understand a little about hell and paradise. People most stop following people without knowing what the Bible say.

My friend there is two ways for everybody in this world. Living with God forever, or dying in the lake OF fire forever. Two groups of people.

And for the Christians the one belong to God is this class of person. They are few.Revelation 12:17and 14:12.
