By now you've probably seen the clip in which the POTUS had a crowd raise their right hands and pledge to cheat when voting in the midterms, accusing his party's opposition of doing the same with no evidence.
How can anyone who claims to be Christian be comfortable with that?

There's lots of room for the meaning of the word "Christian".
As an outsider to Christianity, I don't try to decide who is a true Christian or not.
It would be an appeal to an authority that I just don't have.
I think the closest we have to an actual Christian authority is the pope, and he doesn't speak for every Christian on the planet.
Your question reminds me of the "No True Scotsman" fallacy.
Im wondering by what standards we are to use in order judge if someone is a Christian or not?

I study religiously motivated reasoning. I'm an agnostic atheist and I don't believe in the supernatural or superstitions. I genuinely want to engage your ideas charitably and respectfully. I value critical thinking, empathy, intellectual honesty, and civil disagreement. I am committed to understanding each other’s arguments, remaining open to correction, and discussing arguments rather than attack each other.

(Proverbs 26:18-19)
Like a maniac shooting flaming arrows of death is one who deceives his neighbor and says, "I was only joking."You know he was mocking you, right? Provoking. On time, on target it seems.
