. . . given power to tempt man, thus leading man into sin and eventually causing him to go to hell?

Couldn't god have done it without Satan's help?

The Millennial Reign is a time of a lot of work, in many ways.
Where to find the "alive during the millenium" on that verse then?JehovahsWitness wrote: ↑Sat Jul 06, 2024 10:32 amBut thats what it means.Capbook wrote: ↑Sat Jul 06, 2024 2:10 amAlive during the millenium? (Not come BACK to life. That's not what the Scripture you are referring to says.) The meaning is that the people will be coming to life everlasting. Not that they will be resurrected after the Millennium. You say that JWs change the words in the Bible, but YOU are doing that a lot. You add words, and also do not read a verse in context with the other verses around it. "Come to life----come to life everlasting." That is what the phrase means and no one has changed any words.Capbook wrote: ↑Sat Jul 06, 2024 2:10 amAlive during the millenium? Rev 20:5 The rest of the dead did not come back to life until the thousand years were over. This is the first resurrection. (ISV)
Wrong. Those that come back to life after the 1,000 years are all of the deceased nonbelievers. They are resurrected as humans, not to everlasting spiritual bodied life.
Yes, they are all nonbelievers.
For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. But every man in his own order: Christ the first fruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming. (I Corinthians 15:22-23)
So all deceased believers will be resurrected to everlasting spiritual life at the Second Coming.
Christians living at that time will be changed into spirits at that same time.
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. (I Thessalonians 4:17)
After that occurs, there are no longer any living or buried human believers. All have received their rewards and are spiritual bodied beings.
And there will not be any additional human believers created during the Millennium as they have no teachers to teach them:
Romans 10:14
How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
So the only humans who Comprise the "rest of the dead" are nonbelievers, and they will be resurrected after the 1,000 years.
It did not say during the millenium.JehovahsWitness wrote: ↑Sat Jul 13, 2024 9:16 am"dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished."Capbook wrote: ↑Sat Jul 13, 2024 2:26 amWhere to find the "alive during the millenium" on that verse then?JehovahsWitness wrote: ↑Sat Jul 06, 2024 10:32 amBut thats what it means.Capbook wrote: ↑Sat Jul 06, 2024 2:10 amAlive during the millenium? The meaning is that they resurrected ones come to perfection by the end of the millenium.
No.JehovahsWitness wrote: ↑Mon Jul 15, 2024 10:46 amThe meaning is that they resurrected ones come to perfection by the end of the millenium.
Yes, and by context of Rev 20:7-9, by the end of millenium Satan deceived them (nations), they will gather together to battle and compassed the camp of the saints and the new Jerusalem but fire will devour them.JehovahsWitness wrote: ↑Mon Jul 15, 2024 10:46 amThe meaning is that they resurrected ones come to perfection by the end of the millenium.

Those deceased that are Christ's (believers) will be resurrected to everlasting spiritual bodied life at the Second Coming of Christ.
The rest of the dead (all deceased nonbelievers) will be resurrected after the Millennium as mortal humans once again.
I'm glad you agree
