Do the writers of the Bible teach that Jesus was an archangel?
Examine everything carefully; hold fast to that which is good.

There are some rather esoteric believers that seem to think so.\
If you read some of Paul's more crazy notions you might think so. Of Hebrews with the royal ideology and all.
Some even think Jesus was Yahweh and had dinner with Abraham, wrestled with Jacob and anything else God did in the Hebrew scriptures before he was born or grew is stature and wisdom.
I am betting there are some that think even God is an angel. Then the are the Enoch stories.

No. this is false doctrine from the Jehovah Witnesses

2 John 1

Beware of Antichrist Deceivers.

7 For many deceivers have gone out into the world who do not confess Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist. 8 Look to yourselves, that we do not lose those things we worked for, but that we[c] may receive a full reward.
9 Whoever transgresses[d] and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. He who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son. 10 If anyone comes to you and does not bring this doctrine, do not receive him into your house nor greet him; 11 for he who greets him shares in his evil deeds.

Galatians 1
Only One Gospel

6 I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, 7 which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. 8 But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. 9 As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed.

John 1 (New King James Version)

John 1
The Eternal Word
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend[a] it

This is apparently a doctrine taught by the Jehovah's Witnesses. Whether or not it is false, has yet to be determined. You are begging the question and making an ad hominem argument by labeling it as false simply because it is associated with the JW's. According to them, what you may teach is false.

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but don't the Jehovah's Witnesses confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh? I see nothing in this passage that merits calling them an antichrist.

Yes, one gospel. They will say that they teach the one true gospel and you say that you teach the one true gospel. Both use the Bible to support their claims. Your response is off-topic and does not address the question being debated.

So the writer of GJohn claims that the Eternal Word of God could become a human. What then prevents the Eternal Word of God from becoming an archangel? I don't see the conflict.
