True religion should clearly answer the question of the origin and destiny of man.
1. Where did we come from?
2 Why are we here?
3. What is the eternal destiny of man?
May we hear your clear knowledge of the above questions.

Sin no longer affects anyone's salvation:
Romans 6:14
For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

Post #92Sin shall not have dominion because People who accept Jesus and follow him will be forgiven their sins that they commit non-deliberately, thanks to Jesus' death (and subsequent resurrection). Sin absolutely affects salvation. The willful sinner is not covered under Jesus' blood. (Hebrews 10:26,29)myth-one.com wrote: ↑Fri Nov 08, 2024 9:44 amWe agree. But I don't care.

Isn't most sinning willful?
Can someone accidently sin?

No, most sinning is not willful. We have a tendency to sin because we inherited sin and death from Adam. But we can refuse to willfully sin.

Post #95Yes, willful sinners will suffer the second death. We are saved by God's grace thru faith, we do good works (not sinning) because we are already saved not to be saved. To live an ungodly life, their sins are mostly willful. Also as Christians we commit sin and fall short to the glory of God but we have to ask for God's forgiveness, repent and grow spiritually through the guidance of the Holy Spirit. (Rom 3:23)(1John 1:9)
Yes, I believed Peter caught off guard 3 times. But repented.

Re: The Origin and Destiny of man
We should all remember that there are six places recorded in the Bible wherein the Lord commanded Peter “Thou shalt deny me thrice” before the event occurred.
Did the Lord have a purpose in giving this commandment to Peter?
Did Peter have an important mission to fulfill after. Christ’s crucifixion?
Do you think that it might be wise for all of us to consider the deep import of this command?
Luke 22:34
And he said, I tell thee, Peter, the cock shall not crow this day, before that thou shalt thrice deny that thou knowest me.
Matthew 26:34Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, That this night, before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice.
Mark 14:30 And Jesus saith unto him, Verily I say unto thee, That this day, even in this night, before the cock crow twice, thou shalt deny me thrice.
Matthew 26:75 And Peter remembered the word of Jesus, which said unto him, Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice. And he went out, and wept bitterly.
Mark 14:72 And the second time the cock crew. And Peter called to mind the word that Jesus said unto him, Before the cock crow twice, thou shalt deny me thrice. And when he thought thereon, he wept.
Luke 22:61 And the Lord turned, and looked upon Peter. And Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how he had said unto him, Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice.

Post #97That wasn't a command from Jesus. He was merely telling Peter what would happen. He wasn't commanding Peter to do anything.Revelations won wrote: ↑Sun Nov 17, 2024 10:07 am Dear Capbook & others,

God had foreknowledge what Peter would do when the situation comes.
