Re: Does Hell Exist?
Post #341Unless you believe that neither Jesus nor the Father are Almighty, one or both of them must be Almighty, correct?
Does the Father have to say he is Almighty every time he speaks?
GENESIS 17 v 1
And Abram is a son of ninety and nine years, and Jehovah appeareth unto Abram, and saith unto him, 'I am God Almighty,

Post #348No, I did not. Yes, we can't find the word Almighty in Heb 1:9 for both of them.onewithhim wrote: ↑Sun Sep 01, 2024 4:55 pmWhat do you mean? Can you explain? But we can find Jesus as "the Almighty" in Rev 1:8,17,18. The one who is to come, who died and was made alive.

Re: Does Hell Exist?
Post #349No, that Scripture at Rev 1:8 applies to God, the Father. He alone is the Almighty. (If you want to know a correct view of these subjects, why not go to JW's links?)Capbook wrote: ↑Thu Sep 05, 2024 5:16 amNo, I did not. If Rev 1:8,17,18 refers to the Father, can you answer these questions;
1. Who is the speaker on that verse? Who is to come? (John 14:3) If the Father, can you show me a verse that the Father is coming again?
2. Who died and was made alive? If the Father, can you show me the verse that the Father died and was made alive?
