Is the Jehovah Witness Religion a Christian Religion?

Post by polonius »

Do Jehovah Witnesses consider Jesus Christ to be God? If so, does it maintain that there are two divine persons? God and Jesus Christ?

Are both God and Jesus eternal and coequal?

Yes, what is the problem here?

The problem here is that you are creating yet another strawman, perhaps in an attempt to cover up what was revealed about your religion and that IT in fact claims to be God's mouthpiece.

At this point I would just be continuing to repeat what has already been said in my previous posts. So I will leave my previous posts to stand, and I am moving on...

Peace still to you.

Good I'll keep that in mind.

But whoever drinks from the water that I will give him will never get thirsty again—ever! In fact, the water I will give him will become a well of water springing up within him for eternal life."”

Who really wrote the Gospel we call John's

Wasn't the Gospel of John really written by the Beloved disciple, Lazarus, and not the Apostle John?

An irrelevant question that has nothing to do with JWs or their religion.

If someone doesn't say 'I walk in the truth'? Then what do they walk in? There is no grey area when comes to finding truth. It's either a hit or a miss.

Platitudes are usually wrong. Did you always get 100% on all your math tests in school?

JW quote-mined me (a dishonest tactic) and you are referencing something else entirely.

My full quote was this:
I have not said "I have the truth". It would not occur to me to say this. Christ is the Truth. He is the One who will lead His people into all truth. So He would be the One who has the truth (and who IS the Truth).

No other person or religion can make those claims.

I could say that I am in the Truth - because Christ is the Truth and I am in Christ.

Deflection is dishonest. The question is not satisfied though. What do you have? Truth or no truth? If you say "I have nothing" then you have no truth.

I did not deflect, dear timothy, your question was based upon a quote(-mine) that did not convey my meaning. Even so, the answer is in my post, where I said that I am in Christ (He is the Truth).

I never once said that I do not walk in the Truth (in Christ), therefore your question did not apply.

You said,
I have not said "I have the truth". It would not occur to me to say this.

My question, what do you have then?
