Question for everyone. The lake of fire referred to by the traditional Christian/ Catholic/ Fundi churches.

Is it literally a lake of fire? It is figurative? Other?

I don't know what verse that fire for the ungodly that is symbolic, because I believe they are literal and lexicon defines them not that way as you interpret.

Well you can if you are so inclined provide some verses you believe are literal and I can correct you if the need arises.

Ezek 28:18, God will punish the one who sinned by fire and turn him to ashes.

The original words were addressed to the King of Tyre, there is no indication in the bible that one died by fire. The verse has been symbolically applied to Satan the devil. Satan will be cast in the the symbolic "lake of fire" which represents his (Satan's) complete and everlasting destruction.
