Why isn’t God helping people
Where is God hiding? It seems that God does not care how many or how dies from coronavirus. It seems the religious gatherings spread the virus. Pray does nothing to stop the spread or cure anyone. It seems that God is picking on Christians to infect at the highest rate.
So, where is GOD???
Of course, God could be dead or dying. Look at all the other gods that have died. Gods are created by humans and humans can therefore kill gods.

Why do you preach instead of answering the questions????
Do you belive that pray will cure illness??? If so could you provide documented proof????

I answered the question ( which was loaded and therefore not the kind of question I am inclined normally to answer) ... I made an exception since it seemed you were asking why God seemed to be inactive in the face of so much suffering, which is a legitimate question sincere seekers of truth also ask.
So I provided a bible based answer as best I know how with references for further reading.
And as yet, no thank you.

No I don't.
I believe GOD will cure illness; and when and for whom He chooses. If one prays and is not cured I believe that is proof he has chosen not to provide a cure at that time for that person.

HIS people are a conglomerate, not a pure thing. The fire separates the iron from the dross but the whole lump of ore, iron and dross, must go into the fire.Willum wrote: I would certainly rather be anything BUT his people.
If you believe the Bible, then they have been tortured, routed and emasculated throughout history.

Are you saying that God makes subjective moral decisions on who to save? It does not matter the Christian denomination (any of the thousand different Christian religions).
JWs are treated the same as another denomination and atheists also get the same treatment from your god. From what I know, it seems that the percent of Christians dying is higher then atheists. I think that older people in senior living and nursing home are mostly Christian and those are the ones dying the most. And I think most atheists are younger.
You are saying this time that your god does not pay attention to prays.

As for people getting sick, Believing in and following God, is not a get out of sickness free card. (although if you trust God, it could be a get out of worry card) It is our condition here. If, while in this condition we still try to be good people, that gets rewarded here and now and later also. Or maybe only later?? Its not the point of belief and goodness of God. No one gets out of here alive.

Our belief is a hope of things to come and a statement that we wish to be good people no matter what befalls us.
No one should seek or expect a reward here on this world other than knowing they did the right thing, regardless.

Post #19What we are dealing with today is not about about power. After all Jehovah created everything. Stars, planets, physics, etc. If it was about power, that would be easy to settle. However, It's about who has the right to rule mankind. Jehovah God or man?Willum wrote: [Replying to post 6 by otseng]
With an all-powerful creature, interested in us, we should expect anything, anything at all. What are you expecting? Hands from the sky to materialize and drop coronavirus test kits to everyone?

Post #20Yes of course. God chooses according to his own criteria who to save and who to destroy. One doesnt have to be a believer to at least know the story of Noah and the flood; that well illustrates that God (MY God, Jehovah) chooses who to protect and who to kill.Donray wrote: Are you saying that God makes subjective moral decisions on who to save?
Being a true Christian and being in the only true religion is of course important (it means one can enjoy a close personal relationship with the true God and enjoy an international brotherhood), indeed the bible says that baptism (into the true faith of course) is a necessary step for salvation. That said, that of itself won't save a person. In other words being in the true religion is no guarantee of salvation, one must be truly devoted to God and act in line with that devotion to be judged favourably by God.Donray wrote:It does not matter the Christian denomination (any of the thousand different Christian religions)
