Just want to be real. I'm not lonely for a pen pal here cause I'm so bored and have nothing else worth while to do.
Yes I been saved a while now. Still not the wittiest and most courageous Christian nor am I ever a perfect Christian. I'm real and courageous enough to stand on the bible with any verse in this book. Am I talking to people not phony? I'm just real and don't apologize for being that way. I don't apologize for any bible offenders criticizing me. That's the devil's job for a while. Any Amens to that?
Who can deal with 1 Timothy 2:9-14 and not be phony?
If you not phony can you deal with these verses too:
2 Peter 1:20-21
2 Timothy 3:16
Matthew 15:14
Galations 1:8-9
Matthew 5:18-20
Amos 3:3
Psalms 133:1
2 Corinthians 6:14-17
I didn't ask how witty you are. Are you really a 100% bible believer?
I didn't ask how courageous you are? Really a 100% bible believer?
I didn't ask how perfect you are? Really a 100% bible believer?
I didn't ask for your cutest biography. Really a 100% bible believer?
I didn't ask for the day you accepted Christ. Really a 100% bible believer?
I didn't ask if you have a philosophy of your own. Really a 100% bible believer?
We 100% bible believers that's suppose to be equally yoked like Paul and Amos said to be ?
You confused your not one of God's sheep hearing his voice or Word through the bible. God's children not waiting on big shot celebrities in the bookstores to understand the bible. Whatever the bible shot celebrity authors have to say they got to have bible verses and teaching in harmony with the book only. I don't tell it like it is then I'm phony. Phony business is the devil's business only. You know what time it is I'll recognize who your F(f)ather is by your reaction to the book all over. That fair enough? Only the devil unfair with confusion and irrational lies.

This is a passage that is an embarrassment for many modern Christians. However, many have used a kind of hermeneutics to make this passage say something other than what is says.1 Timothy 2:9-14 wrote:Likewise, I want women to adorn themselves with proper clothing, modestly and discreetly, not with braided hair and gold or pearls or costly garments, but rather by means of good works, as is proper for women making a claim to godliness. A woman must quietly receive instruction with entire submissiveness. But I do not allow a woman to teach or exercise authority over a man, but to remain quiet. For it was Adam who was first created, and then Eve. And it was not Adam who was deceived, but the woman being deceived, fell into transgression.
tonytony wrote:If you not phony can you deal with these verses too:
I'm not quite sure what you are driving at here.2 Peter 1:20-21 wrote:But know this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture is a matter of one's own interpretation, for no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God.
I could point out some passages which are not profitable for teaching, reproof, correction or training in righteousness.2 Timothy 3:16 wrote:All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness;
Christians are usually not willing to let those who disagree with them alone.Matthew 15:14 wrote:Let them alone; they are blind guides of the blind And if a blind man guides a blind man, both will fall into a pit.
This one is usually upheld by at least the biblical literalists. Are you claiming that Christians ignore this one?Galations 1:8-9 wrote:But even if we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you a gospel contrary to what we have preached to you, he is to be accursed! As we have said before, so I say again now, if any man is preaching to you a gospel contrary to what you received, he is to be accursed!
The relationship between the Christian and the Law has been the topic of many disagreement.Matthew 5:18-20 wrote:For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass from the Law until all is accomplished. Whoever then annuls one of the least of these commandments, and teaches others to do the same, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever keeps and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. For I say to you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven.
Are Christians to live isolated lives?Amos 3:3 wrote:Do two men walk together unless they have made an appointment?
Unity has from the beginning been one thing that has evaded Christianity.Psalms 133:1 wrote:Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity!
What do you think that this passage is referring to?2 Corinthians 6:14-17 wrote:Do not be bound together with unbelievers; for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness? Or what harmony has Christ with Belial, or what has a believer in common with an unbeliever? Or what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God; just as God said,
"I WILL DWELL IN THEM AND WALK AMONG THEM;
AND I WILL BE THEIR GOD, AND THEY SHALL BE MY PEOPLE.
Therefore, COME OUT FROM THEIR MIDST AND BE SEPARATE," says the Lord.
"AND DO NOT TOUCH WHAT IS UNCLEAN;
And I will welcome you.

Please have a look at Tips on starting a debate topic.
I have moved this to Random Ramblings. There are some great topics for debate here. Perhaps if you were a bit more focussed.

Post #4I can't speak for unbelievers.
Philosophy has no place in Christianity for a Christian. (Colossians 2:8)
You agree with all the bible you one of God's children .
That's all their is to it.
You agree with all the bible correctly you one of God's children too.
That's all their is to it again.
If you agree with all the bible correctly then we're supposed to be equally yoked like David, Paul and Amos told us to. Otherwise we're wasting our time together with conversation now.
(Psalms 133:1; 2 Corinthians 6:14-17; Amos 3:3)
You still confused with the heart of the matter with the book all over then your not one of God's children born to understand me. Your mystery is with God not man or Tony himself. You have God's spirit you won't get into a personal matter of what I think but what the Holy Spirit has to say about any verse I present for talk only. Yes the Holy Spirit is the Word of God called the bible. That's the only spirit I want talking in this conversation or discussion.
The ultimate question remains the same. Are you a 100% bible believer or not?
That's the only reason why I'm coming here. We have God's spirit then we can be about God's business of having an equal yoke for unity God's way completely.
If you asking me why I want to know if you a 100% bible believer then read David, Peter, Paul and Amos's teaching again:
2 Timothy 3:16
2 Peter 1:20-21
Psalms 133:1
2 Corinthians 6:14-17
Amos 3:3
Would they say we equally yoked after presenting 1 Timothy 2:9-14 to you?
No hard ball or curve ball thrown at all. You lost and still confused or a child of God discerning the Holy Spirit speaking very strongly like never before.

11 Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. 12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. 13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve. 14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.
Woman, being the mother, has authority over the young men and young women.
They are automatic teachers for us.
If woman had not "transgressed" then we would not be here. Mankind would be much less than it is today. We would be dumb animals.
To silence women would show that men will rely on force when logic fails.
To silence women would be a sin against equality.
Man cannot bring himself up by bringing woman down.

Post #6We got reacters in the flesh and not the Word of God talking only.
Who reacting in the Holy Spirit to :
Roman 7:2-3 ?
1 Timothy 2:9-14 ?
You agree that God is speaking in these verses?
You agree that God is speaking through any verse in the bible ?
You agree that no man is speaking through his own spirit in any verse ?
Be nice to know some bible believers in:
Amos 3:3 ?
2 Timothy 3:16 too ?
The reward of finding them is helping a believer fulfill God's will in:
2 Corinthians 6:14-17
Psalms 133:1

Did Adam then lead Eve. Was Adam responsible for the "fall" or was Adam only following Eve.
