Post #1A little place to just chat about Pet topics. How are you getting along with your non-human companion species?

odd topic, but I'll contribute. My cat is awesome. she lays around all day looking really cute. But she won't let anybody pet her but me - she was stray and her mother was shot by an incredible jerk when she was young and I took her home. I'd put up a picture, but the only convenient one I have has me in it. :p I can link to a video though. But you have to download it to watch it. it Isn't very big, but still annoying to download stuff I know. and it's rather dark and has a word in the middle of the video.

I have a Great Dane. Her name is Hannah. She's a very sweet dog, but she is getting older now and I fear she won't be around too much longer. She is getting arthritis and the cold isn't helping. I figure she'll be okay for another year or so. Great Danes are supposed to live to about 9 I think and she is 8, so the curtain is drawing near. She freaks people out because she is so big, but she's a little puppy at heart. If any of you ever think about getting a larger dog, I say go for it. I just like them better than the small ones, but I guess that's just my opinion.

I love great danes ~ you are right. They are sweet! Has your vet talked to you about Rymadal? (sp?) My lab was on it for arthritis. Amazing help - he could chase the ball again and everything.ChristianGuy wrote:I have a Great Dane. Her name is Hannah.
