I am currently residing at Port Macquarie, NSW, Australia.
Having been brought up to consider myself as a christian, I found that what had been explained to me from the bible did not make any logical sense. I discussed issues from the bible with a friend at school that was looking to become a priest within the catholic church. As well as from other discussions about the christian religion, I realised that many of the beliefs purported to be teachings within the bible were actually contradictory.
For instance, Jesus is supposed to be the 'Prince of Peace', yet this quote shows otherwise .....
Luke 19:27 - [Jesus speaking]
But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me.
So, here I am, willing to discuss and debate the inconsistencies and contradictions of the christian religion.
G'day

Welcome

But there are none, just misunderstandings by those who hate God.So, here I am, willing to discuss and debate the inconsistencies and contradictions of the christian religion.

Examine everything carefully; hold fast to that which is good.

Welcome I AM, glad to have another member from down under.
Society and its morals evolve and will continue to evolve. The bible however remains the same and just requires more and more apologetics and claims of "metaphors" and "symbolism" to justify it.
Prayer is like rubbing an old bottle and hoping that a genie will pop out and grant you three wishes.
There is much about this world that is mind boggling and impressive, but I see no need whatsoever to put it down to magical super powered beings.

I was living with a mate that had a play station, so I ended up playing Final Fantasy VII and VIII. I even got around to playing FFIX a few years ago, but have never played FFX. From some people that I have spoken with that have played it they fully recommended it. Maybe one day I'll get around to having a go at it.

Welcome, welcome.

Oh duh, that's where it's from. Your avatar has driven me crazy since I first joined. I knew it was an FF character but I could never quite but my finger on which.OnceConvinced wrote:Played the whole game through three times (including defeating some of the dark aeons).
