Post #1Hi. My name is Caleb and I just signed up. Just thought I'd introduce myself. Hope this is the right place to do that! I am a Christian (Southern Baptist) but I do not wish to force my beliefs on anyone. I joined because I love to talk religion. Sorry, this may sound pretty simple, but thats it!

You've come to the right place man-man. We all love talking religion here. Welcome.
Society and its morals evolve and will continue to evolve. The bible however remains the same and just requires more and more apologetics and claims of "metaphors" and "symbolism" to justify it.
Prayer is like rubbing an old bottle and hoping that a genie will pop out and grant you three wishes.
There is much about this world that is mind boggling and impressive, but I see no need whatsoever to put it down to magical super powered beings.
