What say you? Evil? Ok? Adultery?

(CAUTION: Do not google "swinger lifestyle" if you are at work . . . I am serious.)
It is a first class human tragedy that people of the earth who claim to believe in the message of Jesus, whom they describe as the Prince of Peace, show little of that belief in actual practice.

I don't think it is 'EVIL' or "ADULTRY' (if all parties agree to it), but I do think it is STUPID these days. The chances of STD's are too great IMO. Some of those are incurable, and AIDS needs a lot of attention, or becomes fatal.
“What do you think science is? There is nothing magical about science. It is simply a systematic way for carefully and thoroughly observing nature and using consistent logic to evaluate results. So which part of that exactly do you disagree with? Do you disagree with being thorough? Using careful observation? Being systematic? Or using consistent logic?

Somehow I can't help but think that those who subscribe are a little lost. I equate swinging to anything else someone might gorge on. If I went to a restaurant an ordered a Chinese, Japanese, Indian meal, three times over and gorged myself, I think you would right to be a little disgusted with me.

I think atheism is best suited for those with minimalist tastes. So for this atheist swinging attempts way too much. Not evil. Just an unwarranted application of pelvic energy.

I am guessing you aren't referring to swing dancing? No? Ok, if both partners agree to it, then where is the adultery? I guess I am looking for scripture that specifically says what adultery includes and if each person doesn't see it as adultery, are they allowed to define it individually? If one doesn't see it as cheating on the other and the other agrees, where is the adultery?

After your caution, I won't even google it at home!! :-)
Not 'evil', but maybe wrong for other reasons - what is one trying to accomplish with multiple partners? Is it insecurity or some kind of seeking something that they may not otherwise have?
It would cause me severe mental anguish to see my husband with someone else, I think! I'm pretty sure he would feel the same. There is actually a group of folks that do this, rather openly in a small town near my house.
It just seems that it would cause hurt more often than not. (I'm assuming husbands and wives here)

I don't have a wife or a girlfriend but if I did I am sure someone that wanted to swap just wants do do my wife or girlfriend and doesn't care if I did theirs as they are boring, ugly and mean. It would be like someone trading their shoes with holes in them for my hummer, even if it is just an imaginary hummer.
Of course gas would be cheaper if I just had shoes. :-k

I would never confuse you with "Mushy". That is one thing I am quite clear on. When all else fails, you will are, and always be my sentimental rock.
