Hello

Post by AngelinaC »

Was told to post a little introduction, so here I go.

My name is Angelina and I'm from Euroland :) I am an agnostic/atheist (5+ on Richard Dawkins scale for those familiar with the book :))

I was browsing through the link site on talkorigins and found this one amongst others. Done a bit of reading here, but my workday is almost over, so I'll come back and post later. It's not easy to just start posting in a random thread, a lot of catching up to do, but I found some interesting topic in the agnostic/atheist forum so if I may have access to post there it looks like a good place to start :)

Welcome Angie. I hope you enjoy yourself here.
“What do you think science is? There is nothing magical about science. It is simply a systematic way for carefully and thoroughly observing nature and using consistent logic to evaluate results. So which part of that exactly do you disagree with? Do you disagree with being thorough? Using careful observation? Being systematic? Or using consistent logic?

Hey, Angelina, and how do you do? I’ve only joined today and couldn’t find an introduction section. I could only find your thread with a Hello in it, so I thought I’d drop in to say “Hi”!

Euroland, eh? As in Europe in general? Do you like it there? Decent weather? I live in England and it rains rains rains… So dreary, I tell thee! :-k

I notice those groups have ex–Christian but no ex–Muslim. Oh well, I’ll have to find some fun ones to join. Sarcastic bone–idle time–wasters sounds like a good one…

Once you are an established member, you can use your accumulated tokens to create your own group. That's what I did to make the group Former Christians.
Is it safe to be identified as a former Muslim?

Erm… Probably not!

Internet Anonymity comes in very handy in these sorts of cases though! ;)

Welcome to the forum. We definitely need more females here (little biased here, yes). Hope to see some contributions from you. Fresh ideas and interpretations are always fun and can provide those of us confused with a little more foundation (LOL).

BTW: Nice avatar.
