If it is in the Theology, Doctrine, and Dogma forum the question should not be "Are Jews going to Hell if they do not accept Jesus?" but "Does the Bible teach that Jews going to Hell if they do not accept Jesus? or Does Christianity teach that Jews going to Hell if they do not accept Jesus?"
Examine everything carefully; hold fast to that which is good.

Post #5Point taken, and I apologize. The questions really seem equivalent in practice to me, though.McCulloch wrote:If it is in the Theology, Doctrine, and Dogma forum the question should not be "Are Jews going to Hell if they do not accept Jesus?" but "Does the Bible teach that Jews going to Hell if they do not accept Jesus? or Does Christianity teach that Jews going to Hell if they do not accept Jesus?"
Where should it go? I'll post it again elsewhere.

The issue to me seems to be; are Jews locked into The Old Covenant if they MISS Messiah ??

There are many non-christians here. Most of us do not believe that there is a hell and that there is a significant difference between "Does the Bible teach X" and "Is X true".cnorman18 wrote:Point taken, and I apologize. The questions really seem equivalent in practice to me, though.

If you want to discuss "Does the Bible teach ..." then we can reword the OP a bit and leave it in this forum. If you want to discuss whether Jews really go to hell if they do not accept Jesus, then we can move the debate to "Christianity and Apologetics" or "Non-Christian Religions and Philosophies".

Post #10I would assume that Moses and Elijah would get a pass even from antisemites, let alone ordinary goodhearted Christians.Easyrider wrote:That wouldn't be me, but Moses and Elijah were on the Mt. of Transfiguration with Jesus, weren't they?cnorman18 wrote:I'd say move it. I'm interested in the non-Christians' opinions too.
Thanks.
Not to put too fine a point on it, but what about me?
