That's a good question. It's speculation, considering no one has ever conclusively identified by DNA evidence ANY specific hominid as being man's direct-line ancestor. Not a single one.brandx1138 wrote:Actually, we Homo Sapiens have the largest forehead of all the primates, even our primate ancestors. And our ancestors didn't drag their knuckles (as far as we can tell); they probably used them to move around (like chimps and gorillas do today) before they became upright like us. If their knuckles dragged, they wouldn't be able to move around well enough and would probably die off before they could continue that gene amongst the population. It seems like you have this warped idea of what our ancestors were like. Where exactly did you get this information?

As we have many other threads discussing the biological origins of humans, lets leave that discussion out of this thread, as it is quite off topic.Easyrider wrote:That's a good question. Some elitists catch on and temper their condemnations; however, a few never seem to understand that they are the worst possible representation of their “faith” and are particularly effective as recruiters for Atheism.
You diss a supernatural "super being" but believe fiercely in an unidentified, and arguably imaginary, missing link that no one has yet documented? That kind of faith would make any religious creationist blush with envy.
Anyway, the world is still looking for that invisible, unidentified, and magical super-stud who is supposedly man's direct-line ancestor.

All right, Easyrider. If you want to discuss evolution, let's move it to another thread. Here you go:

Post #5What particular creationist strawman version of evolution were you reading that requires an invisible, magical, super-stud as humanity's direct-line ancestor?Easyrider wrote:<chortle>

Examine everything carefully; hold fast to that which is good.
