Hello, everyone. I discovered your admirable site yesterday and decided that I would enjoy spending more time here.

I am 34, from the UK, and live with my husband and young daughter. I am the child of a lapsed Catholic and an agnostic, and would describe my own religious stance as one of agnosticism approaching atheism. I do not profess to be any great scholar of religion, but I have my point of view none the less, which I am prepared to alter on the basis of evidence. Although I have been interested in the subject of religion for a number of years, I have not spent as much time as many of you obviously have researching it, and so I am likely to prove unequal to the task of matching some of the excellent debating I have seen taking place on this site, at least to start with.

Anyway, this is me saying hi, and I look forward to trying to keep up with your discussions in the future.
