Based upon much credible evidence, it can be both said and proven the homosexual people are no MORE likely to molest or abuse children than heterosexual people.
Yet often, one of the most effective fear tactics amongst those who dislike homosexuals is propagating FEAR as a tool to their ends. I have rarely seen so-called "Christians" (particularly hose who are mainly fundamentist in their beliefs) combat that basically false assertion which suggests that gay people tend to "prefer" children more than those who are straight.
It is a "distortion" of reality which harms homosexual people AND society overall, but I have actually seen very FEW of the most vocal "Christians" speak against what are outright false notions about their fellow human beings (which the Bible clearly prohibits). WHY IS THIS FALSEHOOD SO OFTEN PROPAGATED and even embraced by "Christians"? Many "Christians" are QUICK on the draw to SAY they love homosexual people, but I've so ofen noticed that most are unwilling (or perhaps unable) to "prove" it.

Why would they be more likely to? I've neve heard a convincgin argument for it, ever. Why would being attracted to your own gender also make you attracted to children? Saying homosexuals are child molesters is like saying all straight men are rapists.Except its far more rediculous.

The last statistics that I have read showed 60% of females are likely to suffer abuse of all types at home and 40% of male.
The number of step parents abusing is higher.
These are all heterosexuals. You and me.
