Oh God yes nothing gives me more enjoyment. My current favorites are "Dr" Kent Hovind and the WBC. I knwo I shouldn't laugh at the WBC 'coz they're potentially rather dangerous, but I can't help it they're just so ridiculous and seem to have founded a religion entirely on their gay fixation. It also made me laugh when I read on one of their websites that they use the King James Bible - King James is famous for (among other things) being gay. The WBC have the name of a homosexual printed on the cover of their Bibles lmao.

That site you linked to is AWSOME. Thanks for that.

That was totally shocking (and a bit funny). I can't believe people actually think like that in this world. It's completely bonkers!

No, I don't laugh.

I despair.

I feel a very strong desire to physically injure these people out of sheer frustration at their willful ignorance, and a very strong regret that stupidity isn't terminal.

Then I go and cheer myself up by reading Darwin Awards.

It's more like I shake my head in disgust at the abject stupidity of some of these people. I'd like to think that the human race is made up of somewhat intelligent individuals, but fundamentalism is the proof that it ain't necessarily so.

their comments are usually laughable. but this one is totally disturbing:

"On 24 August 2005, Mr Eriksen wrote: “I’ve never understood why so many men have allowed themselves to be brainwashed by the feminazi myth machine into believing that rape is such a serious crime … Rape is simply sex. Women enjoy sex, so rape cannot be such a terrible physical ordeal.

To suggest that rape, when conducted without violence, is a serious crime is like suggesting that forcefeeding a woman chocolate cake is a heinous offence. A woman would be more inconvenienced by having her handbag snatched.

The demonisation of rape is all part of the feminazi desire to obtain power and mastery over men. Men who go along with the rape myth are either morons or traitors.”

I cannot understand how people can get so fucked up in their mind that they think such awfull things.

It is frightening how extreme some of them are, really. A lot of what Sam Harris wrote in "End of Faith", about the dangers of religious thinking, is very evident is most of those posts. They are fun to laugh at, but wow....

I used to laugh, then i remember not only do these people vote, but they contribute to the development of our culture. Their idea shape our world, this is why I dont believe in the "live and let live" or the "as long as they dont bother me" statements. Everything that people believe affects us, because we all bring our beliefs to society in one way or another or in varying degrees.
