Put to rest your soul, it weighs you down more than raises.
Put to rest your hunger, it dissatisfies you more than satisfies.
Put to rest your amazing grace, it cannot run up against the futility of Will.
But most of all perhaps, put to rest your righteousness -- for it is more mockery than anything else.

Post #3This actually kind of points toward Nirvana, the shedding of all things, and achieving nothingness, but it would be a happy thing not to exist, not a terrifying one.
It's an idea I've always liked. Just... going away... ending... but it's happy. And it's happy for a reason. You have lived enough to understand that you're holding each one of these threads, and they're all hurting you, not helping you. And the threads make up you. So you let them all go and what happens is beautiful.

I have a deep Hunger.... especially the Need... in-the-night. That need, for God, intimacy, food, the Soul..... I am a human living entity that needs love to live.....
Your faith is beautiful.

Post #6Also, put to Rest, Your Intelligence..., for attachment thereof is the golden snag that keeps you shackled to Ego in its finest form....
But still act intelligently when you can. The intelligence in the Moment.
