I'd say that is a pointless question.Indoctrinated Dogma convinced them Jesus was the messiah; what they were told. Maybe they found something to back that up in the Bible,maybe not, but I would guess that mostly the conviction came before thet y even opened the Bible. And even not the expected Flood of convincing Bible -passages seems a bit sparse...
