What is "Worship"?
Post #1Generally when the phrase "Worship God" is expressed, the idea of what that means is reflected in the image above.
Is there any underlying agreement which can be identified to answer the question "What is Worship of God?"?

Re: What is "Worship"?
Post #51Jesus described genuine worship here.
“Genuine worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth……”
He also states we are justified by our words and went on to say that the word of God is spirit. So that means genuine worship is by speaking God’s word period. We also have been taught by scripture that the truth is the word of God. So worshiping in spirit and in truth is again speaking God’s word.
As it is written;”Speak the truth to one another judge righteously and let honesty and peace be at your gates.”

Re: What is "Worship"?
Post #52The question is "what is worship" rather than "what is genuine worship".
The context is that those who worship what they do not know are not worshipping at all.“Genuine worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth……”
This suggests one has to know what it is one is worshipping but still does not answer what worship is.
What it says is that "true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth" but what is
'spirit' or 'truth' is not explained.
Added to that is the concept of "the Father is seeking such to worship Him" with an added clue that "God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth."
Many claim that the Bible is "the word of God". Is this the context you are using the phrase? He also states we are justified by our words and went on to say that the word of God is spirit. So that means genuine worship is by speaking God’s word period. We also have been taught by scripture that the truth is the word of God. So worshiping in spirit and in truth is again speaking God’s word.

Re: What is "Worship"?
Post #58Medium Entity: What is "Worship"?
Christ: What Is Friendship?
Medium Entity: Isn’t that the purpose? To develop a friendship with The Father?
Christ: The Breath of The Source ... Minor Arcana
Medium Entity: 10 of Pentacles
Christ: The Power Of...
Medium Entity: This symbolises and reflects permanence and creating a lasting foundation for future success. It is a symbol of commitment to a sustainable future, taking into consideration not just the short-term gains of a particular venture but also the long-term benefits. "A consistent approach will achieve success that will last the test of time."
Christ: Break Through to Your True Self
(Human religion is intolerant to change once the rules have been established, so they tend to stick with whatever devil they know.)
What is "Worship"?
The path to enlightenment.
