Which Biblically inspired, feature movies have you seen and how have you liked them? Optionally, how would you rank them?
I am talking about general release in-the-theater movies, not videos. And non-Bible stories are OK as long as they contain Biblical events or personnages (i.e., "Raiders of the Lost Ark" = not eligible; "Ben-Hur" = eligible).

Remarkably historical absurdist comedy (except for the aliens bit) that manages to skewer religion, but not primary religious figures.
2. Last Temptation of Christ
More philosophical than religious. It has an interesting point of view and manages to feel like an epic despite its low budget.
3. Ben-Hur
Really fine movie, though Heston is not my favorite actor.
4. The Robe
Hubris on an epic scale. Richard Burton is fun to watch.
5. Salome
Charles Laughton as Herod is enough of a reason.
6. The Ten Commandments
Up until the Hebrews leave Egypt, this is an enjoyable movie -- after that, it gets kind of ridiculous.
