If God is truly unique in the ultimate sense, he eludes all comparison, and therefore all relationality. He is utterly Alone. He cannot be said to be even existence, because existence is exemplified in beings like ourselves. How could God have even that in common with others?
Actually, for God to be truly the Unique, he could not be an Other among others.
In essence, therefore, there would have to be no others.
God is not then, the Unique, else we are all God.
Absolute uniqueness need not be a feature of the Godhead....
Is God "the Unique"?
