What would it take?

A question for atheists, agnostics, and deists (basically everyone but christians) : What would it take for you to believe that Jesus was indeed the son of God?
So from Jerusalem all the way around to Illyricum, I have fully proclaimed the gospel of Christ.

Realistically, I can't see it ever happening, because I'm fairly sure it's not true. I can't think of any one specific thing, short of all the obvious stuff I'm apparently not meant to demand like a personal and unambiguous visitation from God, but basically, if I'm going to believe a highly unlikely-sounding story from that many centuries ago, I'm going to want some extremely reliable, consistent, verifiable, first-hand witness reports. To believe in Christ as the son of God would be such a dramatic change to what I understand of the world from what I perceive of it so far, that it currently seems a far simpler and more likely explanation that some humans made some human mistakes, and had some human agendas, and so on.

Basically, I want something that would be practically, if not entirely, inconceivable if Jesus were not the son of God. Some predictions made in a holy text which are rather more statistically impressive than Drosnin's Bible Code would be nice. I'm probably being vague. Suggest something that you might consider persuasive, and I'll let you know whether I'm convinced.

For me to believe that Jesus was the son of God?

These things have to be proven to me in this order:
(1) Gods do exist
(2) Specifically, there is only one God
(3) This god is defined as the Christian God, and cannot be explained by any other god or other deity or deities from any other belief system.
(4) Not only that, your world with God must behave in some observable fashion that cannot be explained by scientific or psychological explanations.

That's a start. Jesus is another thing entirely.

For the unreleased books of the new testament to be added into the holy bible. No more denominations too. When christians join together again and agree, I'll check it out.

First I'd need proof there is a god.

It would take undeniable LOGICAL proof, and the bible could not be used due to its many inconsistancies.

Evidence 8-) (too short an answer, I know)

1)Proof that there is a god

2)Proof that there was a Jesus

3)Proof of a direct link between the two

For starters, and then on top of that, as someone else already mentioned, there are Christian denominations that can't even agree upon core aspects of the Christian faith (Unitarian VS Trinitarian). I would have to believe in miracles as well by extension because of miraculous claims, and that the genealogy of Christ is somehow indicative that he's the Messiah, even though his Genealogy in Matthew and Luke don't match up.

I'm sorry, I don't think anything can ever make me a Christian again, I have just been exposed to too many of the mistakes and gaff ups in the Bible, which is the only thing making the basis for these circular claims.
