Trump or Clinton

Post by WinePusher »

This isn't a thread meant for debate. Just state who you believe is going to win and why, and the amount of tokens you're willing to put up. 8-) We'll check back on this thread after the election to see which one of us made the right call.

I bet all my tokens that Clinton will win. Trump has screwed himself in so many ways. Anyone wanna challenge me?

Although I am not at all politically inclined, of the two presented for vote the less undesirable strikes me as being Clinton. I suspect that she will be elected because Trump seems intent on self-destructing.

Overall, though, I agree with the wise person (disputed origin) who said "In a democracy [or representative republic] the public gets the government they deserve." Current obsession with sexual issues overshadows consideration of issues that have national and world importance . . .

I'll bet on the candidate who did not joke about dating a ten year old in ten years, Hilary Clinton.
I'll put up 1,000 tokens to be split up among any Trump bettors who put up at least 1,000 tokens.

If trump wins I'll donate all my tokens. But whoever wins this joke of an election, America (we the people) lose.

Clinton will win the White House.
The Democrats will have a slim majority in the Senate, or the Senate will be split 50/50 with the deciding vote going to the VP, a Democrat.
The Republicans will continue to have a majority in the House, but it will be reduced by about half of its current value.

5,000 tokens to anyone who calls all three differently but correctly.

I am thoroughly disheartened that these are the two candidates left standing. There simply isn't a better example showing that the two party system is broke - probably beyond repair.

That said, I agree Hillary (or as my friend describes her, Lady Macbeth), will win the election.

Trump has lost the minority vote and the women's vote. I can't see him overcoming those obstacles.

As has been said above, whomever wins, we lose.

Sad, sad state of affairs.

Hello People!

I have no idea who will win the election. It seems that everyone I have talked to can't decide how to vote, putting everyone in the same boat....sinking!!

Greed and corruption have punched large holes in the 'ship of state' and no one seems interested in stopping the leaks or bailing the water.

As a white American male I must say that Trump can not count on all of us to vote him into office either. But then, I have considered Trump to be little more than a buffoon for many years anyway. His run for office certainly has not changed that observation.
