Post #1This isn't a thread meant for debate. Just state who you believe is going to win and why, and the amount of tokens you're willing to put up. We'll check back on this thread after the election to see which one of us made the right call.

Although I am not at all politically inclined, of the two presented for vote the less undesirable strikes me as being Clinton. I suspect that she will be elected because Trump seems intent on self-destructing.
Overall, though, I agree with the wise person (disputed origin) who said "In a democracy [or representative republic] the public gets the government they deserve." Current obsession with sexual issues overshadows consideration of issues that have national and world importance . . .

Clinton will win the White House.
The Democrats will have a slim majority in the Senate, or the Senate will be split 50/50 with the deciding vote going to the VP, a Democrat.
The Republicans will continue to have a majority in the House, but it will be reduced by about half of its current value.

Post #7I am thoroughly disheartened that these are the two candidates left standing. There simply isn't a better example showing that the two party system is broke - probably beyond repair.
That said, I agree Hillary (or as my friend describes her, Lady Macbeth), will win the election.
Trump has lost the minority vote and the women's vote. I can't see him overcoming those obstacles.
As has been said above, whomever wins, we lose.
Sad, sad state of affairs.

But then, I have considered Trump to be little more than a buffoon for many years anyway.
