I am pleased to join this community of fellow enthusiasts. My previous discussion board was with ILP (I Love Philosophy) where I was a participant and moderator for a few years. Those were enjoyable times. With the advent of the change of forum rules, I felt I wasn't a good fit as contributor and moderator there anymore.
I have a loving wife with three wonderful children (all grown) and a precious grandson. Plus, a church family which brings me joy to be apart of.
Heartfelt and thoughtful discussions concerning God and the Bible has for a long time has been a big interest of mine. Being a technophile is another facet of my appeal of mine. I know the Bible tells us not to love things of the world, but I feel creativeness is a gift from God, so to squander such available resources seems a pity.
My occupation is being a carpenter. My brother and I are partners in a construction and remodeling company. Our strong points lean toward remodeling older, turn of the century homes and reproducing certain aspects of their special designs. We have blessed to get to some very special projects.
I like reading and discussing other folk's viewpoints to gather fresh perspectives from their thoughts. It is my most sincere hope that I will be a positive contributor here. Happy discussions!

Welcome Liteninbolt!
PCE Theology as I see it...
We had an existence with a free will in Sheol before the creation of the physical universe. Here we chose to be able to become holy or to be eternally evil in YHWH's sight. Then the physical universe was created and all sinners were sent to earth.
This theology debunks the need to base Christianity upon the blasphemy of creating us in Adam's sin.

Thanks for the welcome! Otseng, since you are a moderator here and I had no luck in finding an answer in the FAQ section, perhaps you can help me. I hit the post reply button but was placed in the forum categories page instead of the 'post a reply' page. The interface is very similar to ILP's, but it is possible I have done something wrong. All I was able to do was hit the reply button in your message body. I'll await for some direction until before I post further. Many thanks!

That is a very good occupation. It was the one Jesus chose to follow while he was on earth. Welcome to the forum. My occupation is being a carpenter.
His invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made.

Welcome. Hope to see you active in the forums.

Society and its morals evolve and will continue to evolve. The bible however remains the same and just requires more and more apologetics and claims of "metaphors" and "symbolism" to justify it.
Prayer is like rubbing an old bottle and hoping that a genie will pop out and grant you three wishes.
There is much about this world that is mind boggling and impressive, but I see no need whatsoever to put it down to magical super powered beings.
