We should forgive because:
1) God commands us forgive.
2) God forgave us by dying for the sins we committed against Him
3) Even sinners are God’s children and our brothers and sisters
4) God loves sinners and came into this world to save them form sin.
5) We will find true peace only when we forgive.

1) Yes. But also because we should treat others as we would like to be treated.
2) Christ* died for our sins. God sent Him.
3) All are sinners. No one is perfect.
4) God loves everyone.
5) We might not find any comfort or peace by forgiving someone; in fact it might be very painful or difficult to do so. We may however experience some peace of mind by willingly forgiving someone who wronged us -- but what they did to us may not be forgettable. And the fact is, we will always remember. Forgiveness may be the proper response but it doesn't take back what happened. Lotus-like bliss is not a guaranteed result. That makes the decision to forgive all the more difficult. There may not be any reward whatsoever, but it's still the right thing to do.

God specifically told me that I should not forgive. We should forgive because:
1) God commands us forgive.
I've committed no sin against God. Have you? As for it dying, if it is dead, then why should we care about what it may or may not have said to do?2) God forgave us by dying for the sins we committed against Him
3) Even sinners are God’s children and our brothers and sisters
And we're all orphans?
4) God loves sinners and came into this world to save them form sin.
Then, since God was supposedly the one who defined what was sin and what was not, it was hardly saving us from anything but its own ideas.
5) We will find true peace only when we forgive.
How do you know? Have you ever tortured and slaughtered someone who did you wrong? I'm talking about major, hard-core "wrong", and major vengeance. There is no better feeling in the world, my friend, and there is no better peace. If you wish to argue this with me, please, tell me about the last time you got revenge on someone who did you wrong, and how you felt afterward.
