Creating websites is easier than it used to be.

Google Sites is a new computer tool. A brief description of it, and a link to a tutorial, can be found at

This software, introduced in 2004, is for people who are not familiar with the HTML language, but who want to create standard websites. And you do not need to upload (or pay for) the software. Software resides on far-away computers; you access it by using a browser.
