What do you regret about your youth ?

I am fifteen and just interested in what you regret most about your youth and more importantly what you regret not doing. I have probably posted this in the wrong subforum, even wrong website :P but I just want to hear what you have to say to get a better perspective and learn from your mistakes :).

Cheers Harry

My biggest, perhaps my sole regret regarding my youth is the lack of a formal education. I can't remember if I actually graduated the eighth grade, and envy those who were able to continue their education even one level beyond.

Stay in school!!!
I might be Teddy Roosevelt, but I ain't.

In elementary school, a new girl arrived in class. She asked me if I would be her friend. She eventually became the homecoming queen in high school. I regret that I did not say "yes" to be her friend.

Out of curiosity, did you flat out say "no"?

Mine would probably be not taking part in debate in school.
While my childhood was quite an ordeal, there's little I can say that I 'regret' about it.

Oh my gosh! Sooo many regrets, so little time. Let's keep it to these two:
1. When I was sexually assaulted by a classmate in 9th grade, I didn't report it. I regret that since I heard later that he went on to rape someone.
2. Because I had low self-esteem in high school, I settled for my first boyfriend, who was a real jerk. If I had realized how pretty and smart I was, I would have chosen a lot better.

Ahh, this is one of my few skills. I do it well.

Don't beat yourself up, we're all jerks, really.
But yeah, my first girlfriend was quite a mistake, and most of my friends would say the same about theirs.

But Kharma loves me, a few years later when I was about 20 and getting ready for a party (looking quite great, if I do say so myself) he delivered my pizza!

It was priceless....

Of course it was waay less than he deserved, but it's the little things in life that give me joy.
