Hello people. I am Shema_Yisrael which means Hear O Israel. I have come here to testify of the light that came into the world. First of all I do not belong to any form of organized religion. I do not belong to Judaism or Christianity as many may think from what I testify.I believe in YHVH (THE ONLY GOD) and in what he revealed to the children of Israel throughout Scripture. I believe that Yeshua(Jesus) is the Messiah but is in no way YHVH. I believe the Holy Spirit is YHVH's righteous mentality whom he imparts to righteousness seeking individuals. I believe that Scripture must be studied with the desire to find righteousness and with common sense.(So the Holy Spirit guides you).A concordance and lexicon greatly help also in understanding some of the poorly and biased segments in English translations.
With that said , I am glad to be of service to YHVH and to shed some light into the deceived world. Scripture is ALWAYS fulfilled. The falling away has happened(Right when were many martyred and Christianity founded by Rome). Most have been deceived.I used to be deceived and now that I found the Truth I must pass it on to those who have eyes to see and ears to hear.
Blessings to all and may YHVH guide you.

Hey there McCulloch. You will probably find me in the theology forum a lot. I think I will start by showing how the Messiah is not YHVH.(GOD) I wonder what your position on this is? Anyways you will see me there.
May YHVH guide you in truth.

There is no elusive truth. It is clear for those who have eyes to see and ears to hear. Only the ones who come in meek righteousness and NOT self pride and selfishness can see this. Truth comes from YHVH. He is the truth. All over Scripture the truth is written. The truth is righteousness. There is no truth in unrighteousness. My duty is to serve YHVH in spirit and truth like it is commanded , but so many forget or I should say ignore. I came here to teach about the truth that so many claim to have but always leads to unrighteousness. It IS in Scripture yet so few see it because most love their unrighteous and self important life.

You may find that I agree with you as far as the Jewish concept of messiah excludes the Christian notion of incarnation.Shema_Yisrael wrote:Hey there McCulloch. It is your created version of 'truth', it certainly isn't mine or that of many others! The more you shout about it the less credible you seem!Shema_Yisrael wrote:There is no elusive truth. Why meekness? Why not have self pride?Shema_Yisrael wrote:There is no elusive truth. It is clear for those who have eyes to see and ears to hear. The allfather tells us to stand tall and proud. The meek do not accomplish greatness, it is the brash, the bold, the headstrong that change the world. I do not understand this encouragement of humility.

There's no shouting Misty. If some words are capitalized it's for emphasis:). As for righteousness not being the truth of many it's because people are self-centered.People in general are good and evil , but they must learn to put the evil aside and always try with their hearts to achieve righteous perfection. That was what the Messiah taught. He dedicated his whole life to others. He was meek not self-centered.
Loving righteousness is loving YHVH(God). You see, the Torah that was given to ancient Israel were not a set of laws. It was a marriage covenant! They were supposed to be faithful to him and to love him. They weren't in general. Most started viewing them in a legalistic way. But these "laws" were to be observed with joy and love. They weren't supposed to be a burden or something that had to be done just because it was written. That's why Yeshua the Messiah was sent to show the way , the truth and the life for those who have eyes to see and ears to hear(Those who seek righteousness).
The true gospel is that a new kingdom will be established on this planet. It will be a kingdom of rest , peace and joy for those who sought(are dead) and are seeking(are alive) righteousness. A perfect kingdom and an eternal life(no death) for those who sought righteousness with all their intent.
Indeed Coyotero ,I stand tall and proud in giving this message ,but as for pride for myself, I do not. What is this greatness that you speak of? Perhaps an illusion of power and wealth that passes away once you die? All that remains is a memory of you and in time it vanishes. Even if you have a statue it is still a piece of rock or metal. If all people were meek we would all be joyful and prosperous. As for changing the world, the world is more corrupt and unrighteous than ever before as the population grows. All these great changes in history are only delusions. The world is still not perfect and definitely not moving towards it. Not until the Messiah returns again will there be peace and joy for the meek. Unrighteousness can only lead to your destruction.
It is not my created version of truth Misty:).It has been since the creation of everything. We humans are the ones who have gone astray with many false "truths",but it is never late to change and fix our mistakes. I'll state it again, only those who have eyes to see and ears to hear can understand this. Are you one of them? Only YHVH and you know deep inside yourself.
May the light of YHVH shine on you all!

As I am to understand, you believe this covenant applies to humankind as a whole. From what I understand this is counter to Judaic tradition, which views the covenant as something between the Israelites and their god (The one you refer to by the tetragrammaton.)Shema_Yisrael wrote:

Neither my ancestors nor myself were there when this covenant was created, so how is it that we should be beholden to it's terms?
What makes said gospel true? Why should a new kingdom be established? It seems to me that we should be working to perfect the world we have, rather than waiting around for something better to come along.Shema_Yisrael wrote:

We heathens have a somewhat different opinion on this matter, written by Odin in Havamal:Shema_Yisrael wrote:

75.
Cattle die and kinsmen die,
thyself too soon must die,
but one thing never, I ween, will die, --
fair fame of one who has earned.
I do not think so. I think we would lack prosperity for there would be no reason to seek it out. Meekness begets fear, fear profits a man nothing.Shema_Yisrael wrote:

It does not suit me to wait on another to bring peace and joy. I have these things in my life because I have brazenly sought and claimed them.Shema_Yisrael wrote:

Our world is just that. Ours. It is not the property of gods or demons, or any other being. It is the province of men, and it is our jurisdiction to make it better. I can't abide sitting around waiting for some God or another to repair what we humans have screwed up. It falls on us alone to be the masters of our domain. Where there is corruption, we must put it down, where there is evil, we must brazenly kill.
Perhaps corruption festers because most are too meek to take a stand against it?
This I can agree on.Shema_Yisrael wrote:
Unrighteousness can only lead to your destruction.
It should be obvious at this point that we have vastly different spiritual outlooks, which is to be expected, that's why the forum is here. However this is not the area for debate... I look forward to engaging in such discourse further however.
Welcome to the forum.
