Post #1Hi, everyone. I just recently joined, in case you didn't know. I'd just like to outline some basic things about myself. Firstly, I identify myself as an Atheist, though i come from a Catholic family. I didn't do many of the things most Catholics would do. Just a baptism. I've only been to Church for that, an Uncles' wedding, and the Baptisms of two family members. Just wanted to throw that out there. I'm not going to be saying anyone is wrong (Usually), I'm just going to be saying what I believe. I'm going to at least try to respect your beliefs. Please respect mine. Sorry if I went on too much.

Don't worry about your post length. feel free to go on as long as you like. Some of us are very long winded so we are used to it. If you respect people's beliefs, you most certainly are welcome here - this forum is very well moderated and does not tolerate personal attacks and such, so you don't have to worry about debates spiraling into flame wars here.
If you would like to clarify your position for everyone you can join a usergroup - but it certainly isn't required(though it will allow you to post in the corresponding forum).
