I was going to post an intro in a topic I'd like to start, but now I feel like it's a little silly that I don't post here first to say hi. >_>

I'm really glad I found this forum--this kind of debate environment is exactly what I've been looking for. I've been arguing with some friends on a WoW guild forum, but I needed a more appropriate venue.

So, looking forward to a good discussion.

I'm restating from scratch an argument that was a recurring theme in that thread, and will post it soon--probably tomorrow. (By word of warning, it's gotten to be much longer than I thought it would be...so apologies in advance for the TLDR.) I still have two more contentions to write, but it's almost done.

Check out Tips on starting a debate topic to assist in starting a new thread. Also, it is recommended to have a short OP, but posts after that can be as long as you want. The OP is displayed on every page, so it would keep people from having to scroll down a lot on every page.
