Who here has read the Screwtape Letters?
I'm about halfway through it, and I think it's excellent.
Anyone agree or disagree, or have something interesting to say? CS Lewis was such a genius. I love his books.

Lewis shows remarkable insight into human nature. I have not read the Screwtape letters for a couple of decades, but they are quite clever and marginally insightful. A Grief Observed was better, but a difficult read at times.
Examine everything carefully; hold fast to that which is good.

Yes, I absolutely love reading about human nature. It fascinates me. CS Lewis was so great at writing; he incorporated his beliefs, human nature, AND a cool story all into one little book.
So many beliefs discussed so descretely. Eveytime I come across one, I think, "Wow, that's really amazing."
Reading good books makes me happy.
