Pray that my family moves??

Post by rv4life »

I do not like where my family lives. I am a teen so still have to live at home. Do you think praying for my family to move would work and help? I do not want to bother or annoy my family but I want to have better opportunities in life. Where I live, the school I go to has no clubs other than sports and I want to do more things at a school and be more social. I currently am not social at all. This would require me to move to a larger area.

Thank you and god bless.

RV,

Welcome to the forum. You ask an important question.

Rather than praying for a move, might it make more sense to make changes in yourself to become what you want to be?

None of us start as a "finished copy". We learn and grow throughout life, often most rapidly in childhood, teen years and early adulthood. We each have the ability to shape ourselves by thought, effort and determination.

I would suggest talking to both your heavenly father and your earthly father about how you feel. There might even be a possible solution without moving.
