An Apology to Goat

I've placed this in General Chat in case others may have witnessed the following. I trust the mod's will make a proper decision on its location.

Some time back I had a brief bit of debate with goat about what the greastest/most beneficial evolutionary change was for the creation of modern humans.
Goat said the jaw becoming smaller and allowing an increase in brain size was (if only perhaps) most beneficial, and I was steadfast on the ability to walk upright -freeing the hands for tools/weapons- was most beneficial.
While I still believe my case the best, I realize I really only have my amateur understanding to go on, and that goat's case is equally valid.
I think I may have been a bit arrogant in my assumptions -read opinions- and so now I offer goat an apology for not having understood my own intellectual limitations.

A recent restudy of the pertinent issues has been unable to resolve the debate to my satisfaction, and so I can't honestly say that goat is wrong, nor can I honestly say that my opinion is the correct one.
