Question for debate: Is there any evidence to suggest that this (or any of this) is true?Bag-Of-Hammers wrote:Muhammad wrote the koran in response to Judiasm and Christianity. He was jealous and wanted all the attiontion and praise, so he annointed himself as the one to be worshopped. Him and Allah(Satan). He would not humble himself in light of the truth. When his followers are confronted with the truth they act out as Muhammad would do. They turn into homicidal crybabies. Everyone that worshops Islam are worshopping the epitome of evil.

When you have eliminated all which is impossible, then whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth

TrueReligion; try this for to starters ;
1 Then Pilate therefore took Jesus, and scourged [flogged] him.
.2 And the soldiers platted a crown of thorns, and put it on his head, and they put on him a purple robe,
3 And said, Hail, King of the Jews! and they smote him with their hands.
4 Pilate therefore went forth again, and saith unto them, Behold, I bring him forth to you, that ye may know that I find no fault in him.
5 Then came Jesus forth, wearing the crown of thorns, and the purple robe. And Pilate saith unto them, Behold the man!
1 - Scourged him He was beaten probably with a whip. Later He was flogged again in connection with the sentence mt2726.
4 - I find no fault He should not have had Him flogged. Compromise tends to grow.
5 - Behold the man Pilate must have expected or hoped that the Jews would consider the flogging sufficient. Also, Jesus would have appeared innocent. The Holy Spirit was bringing conviction.
5 - The man A profound statement although Pilate probably didn't realize it. Jesus was indeed "the man" for time and eternity. jn0114, mt0101. He was Son of man and Son of God lu0135.

Then we can go on to what happens after this ;
6 When the chief priests therefore and officers saw him, they cried out, saying, Crucify him, crucify him. Pilate saith unto them, Take ye him, and crucify him: for I find no fault in him.

When Selfish Gene author Richard Dawkins challenged physicist John Barrow on his formulation of the constants of nature at last summer Templeton-Cambridge Journalism Fellowship lectures, Barrow laughed and said, “You have a problem with these ideas, Richard, because you aren''t really a scientist. You''re a biologist ! (Woo Hoo you go Barrow!)

I am just wondering, and its important for future and past reference. I would be happy if its just a new policy regarding religious writings. I am not sure (because I post in many forums) but I am fairly sure that the bible and the Christian God has been insulted many times without moderator involvement. Or should we report the offenses? I know you guys cant be everywhere at once.
Thanks in advance for your considerations.

That is assuming of course that Christians are right. How about if Islam is correct. Can you prove that it is not the Christians that are going to be going into the rather egyptian concept of the 'Lake of Fire'? You will not find that concept in the O.T.Pastor4Jesus wrote:If you are a christian how can you be in hell? In any case I don't believe in a burning hell for people anyway. Hell is reserved for the greatest (fallen) angel of all time and his followers. I like Billy Graham and other theologians think that hell as a lake of fire exists but its a prison for Satan and the demons there of. If you are simply one that chooses not to believe or accept the word of God as truth, you simply die, which is fair and fitting. However for about proof I suppose you would have to go there. No thanks, I will accept it on faith.VermilionUK wrote:True, I was speaking perhaps more in general terms, as you would find that a person's religion is - more often than not - a consequence of where they live, and what religion their family is. Care to prove it?Pastor4Jesus wrote: But there are no Christians in hell.

You say that Christians will not be found in hell. So where are such people as Tomás de Torquemada and Adolf Hitler?
“What do you think science is? There is nothing magical about science. It is simply a systematic way for carefully and thoroughly observing nature and using consistent logic to evaluate results. So which part of that exactly do you disagree with? Do you disagree with being thorough? Using careful observation? Being systematic? Or using consistent logic?

Well of course my comment is true if Christianity is correct in the same vein as; what if the Neanderthals were correct in their view of the universe and religion. Anyway, no not even DeSade has to go to (burning) hell. They will have a chance to defend their actions when judged. They could choose to go to hell with Satan if they wish but that's the only way. Personally I think most evil is due to a mental deficiency and most mental illness may have a organic source. But thats simply a hunch.

People like the Grand Inquisitors of the Spanish inquistion will go to Heaven because they accepted Jesus, but the faithful Jews who they burned at the stake for not accepting Jesus will go to hell.

Banishment or not, it is the truth. I explained in that post some ways that it is.Jester wrote:Moderator CommentThis is not an improvement.Bag-Of-Hammers wrote:THe Koran is a perversion and an insult to God.
You may take any position you wish, but must debate logically and without inflammatory statements. Doing otherwise is the road to banishment.

Taking God's name in vain means to use God as an excuse for doing evil. It can be done under the guise of some religions. Muhammad takes God's name in vain. He lies about who God is and uses his "authority" to get people to submit to him. The religion of Islam is the most evil of things ever to have been created.
