The sky gnomes visited me in their stone sky chariot, and have imparted their wisdom upon me.
I have all the answers to your metaphysical questions. So, go ahead and ask, and I shall impart the wisdom of the sky gnomes to you lowly humans.

This is clearly an evolutionary trait of the wire coat-hanger genus.HughDP wrote:Don't get me started on coat-hangers. They're devious things at the best of times. Have you noticed how they huddle together and simply won't let go?

You guys should get this thread published...I've been laughing like a loon on loon pills reading it.
I have a question for the Sky Gnomes.
Why does Mrs Upstairs (more precisely 'Frau Upstairs' seeing as I'm in Germany) insist on coming downstairs and insisting that the loud sound of the water pipes when I'm running a bath is somehow my fault? As a devout Gnomist, I am always very kind and courteous to Mrs Upstairs and I can understand her dislike of loud noises but she has attached to me the kind of intelligence that a plumber possesses and I'm afraid I just don't have the mental capacity to understand the complex labyrinth of pipeworks within our block of flats.

meeble, the problem is that it can be shown that your plumbers are clearly in league with the gnomes and practice their dark-art to please their Gnomish masters.
It sounds as if Frau Oben Gelegen is also agnomist (and therefore also a heathen).

Actually, this is not correct.OccamsRazor wrote:meeble, the problem is that it can be shown that your plumbers are clearly in league with the gnomes and practice their dark-art to please their Gnomish masters.

The truth is, that Meeble´s ancestors once sinned, and in the eyes of the Gnomes, this can never been forgiven. So this is simply the sin of the fathers working its magic.
You get what you deserve Meeble.

As a devout Gnomist I am compelled to go with Razor's explanation. I don't appeal to rationality or logic to make my decision. I'm just going to go with whatever I find warmest and fuzziest and the most comfortable. Like a daft hobbit.
