Hello to all posters!

My name is David and I'm from Victorville, California, about 90 miles from downtown Los Angeles.

I am a Seventh-day Adventist Christian that believes in the Godhead of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

I'm looking to have some lively yet extremely respectful debates and information exchange. I'm sure I'll get to know many of you in a good way and make many new friends.

Deu 6:4 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God [is] one LORD:

Shema!

Who said? Is there some rule in your world that says I cannot comment on the fact that Catholicism has imported many pagan rituals into their beliefs? What if Catholicism teaches two different messages to one group and teaches another set to another? I can't comment?
I think I have already commented on the truth of that statement. I decline to comment further.
Great! You'd be wise then.
Can't help you there, I don't know much about it either.

Uh? You said you used to be a Methodist pastor and can't comment because you don't know much about Christianity? What did you teach then?
I'm just glad you aren't telling Hindus what their religion teaches like you tell Jews.
I guess I could learn.....[/quote]

You misunderstand. You may comment on factual matters all you like. You may not allege that other religions teach things that they do not teach.

I am prepared to comment again if it becomes necessary. You have reason to be careful yourself.

PM follows.

Are you bring facetious, or joking, or deliberately twisting what I said, or are you actually that obtuse?

I clearly meant I knew little about Hindiusm, and surely you understood that.

Are you now going to tell me, "No, you just admitted you didn't know much about Christianity"?
