Jesus look-alike contest!

Post by Cmass »

Here is some fun based upon another thread I started concerning the importance of Jesus' appearance:
Post, either in your avatar or in the thread text, a picture of yourself at any time of your life, or a picture of a friend of yours who looks most like your vision of Jesus.
I will donate 25 tokens to the winner toward their MPG standing.
The winner will be determined by me based upon the comments from others. If 5 or more people don't participate then the contest will be void.
It must be a picture of you or someone you actually know.

My vote, thus far is for Wizandra who I think really IS Jesus. He even writes in tongues!

My second vote would have to be a picture I have seen of Cathar holding a baby - hopefully he will publish them soon. A kind of Burl Ives meets Santa meets Jesus vibe.
I am searching through old pictures of me, but I don't look anything whatsoever like Jesus - except perhaps when I hitchhiked part way through Alaska many years ago.....

Pray tell, how can there be a Jesus look-alike contest if nobody alive knows how Jesus looked like? There are no known recorded detailed depictions of his face. So this is a silly contest to say the least.
Love,
Madeline
You prayed, so I'll tell: What do you THINK he looked like? And, based upon that image, who do you think would most match that description.

I'd say that Jesus probably looked like Moses! ;)

I wonder what he smelled like in the middle of the week,
Lilly of the valley?

Ooh, if he smelled like that then I would love to smell him. But then I don't smell too well! :(

Madeline

I am sure they will tell you that the "Lord" can over come just one more human flaw. Just seeing how small we are helps me understand the wonderful undeserved love God has for me so I can be a good slave.
I know as a father that was what I had in mind for my kids and I would think he could do better with worse.
