Question for debate, "Should a person be allowed to refuse to perform a portion of his or her job due to religious values?"
Assume for discussion that the task in question volates the person's religious values, is not generally considered illegal or immoral outside of the person's religion and was not part of the person's job when the person was hired.
Examine everything carefully; hold fast to that which is good.

It depends on the religious belief. I am pro-choice: I will not go work for a pro-life pregnancy center, or even a conservative Christian one, as I know there is a great likelihood that I may be expected to behave as though I am pro-life (i.e. refusing to assist a woman in getting an abortion). I know I will disagree with that, so I don't put myself in a situation in which I know I will be conflicting with company policy. To do otherwise would be irresponsible and frankly a little self-righteous.

If a pharmacist knows he or she will be required to hand out contraceptives to unmarried people, and that he or she will disagree with this, he or she should not work in an environment where he or she will be required to, or have someone else provide those services. It's simple.
