What is your opinion on Global Warming?

I'll tell you the definition to GLOBAL WARMING...it is a scare or threat for politicians(mainly democrats) to get enough attention to win an election.

God said he was going to destroy the world, and we are not. Humans are not destroying the ozone and the world isn't going to freeze. Or anything like that. I feel that GOD is going to destroy the world with a fervent heat. Post your opinion...THANK YOU

Well put, neillos. I would add that it's not just denial that they offer, but active obfuscation. It's not just saying "you're wrong," but saying "what about this?" and then bringing up something wonky.

*sigh*

Someone wrote that God was going to destroy the world, God didn't say it, for sure.
Christ was going to return soon according to Paul and the unknown author of Mark seem to think it was soon while some were still living in 70 CE. We (our planet) have been through a number of extinctions.
We wobble through the galaxy and who knows what is in store for us.
The sun changes its output periodically.
It might be interesting to see what would happen if we were devastated like we were 70,000 years ago and with the human population so high and we being everywhere some might survive in little pockets only to evolve differently in each. Given enough separation for enough time we could end up as a number of species. If we get a big freeze or and heat wave even if it is our fault we should try to be prepared. There is only so much drinkable water and breathable air.
We seem to need forests and algae. We don't know how long we are going to last but we should plan for the worse and hope for the best anyway. A culture of hopelessness is no way to live even if you hope is in the afterlife. If salvation is not this worldly then one can only imagine its use.
