IF, when you die, you find out Christianity is in fact correct and there is a Heaven and a Hell, which of these statements would be true for you?

Be glad I didn't have to spent eternity with a god who ordered his followers to rape and murder, I DO have morals ya know!

Wonder why I was going to Hell since, even though I was Atheist or Agnostic, I lived a very moral life.

Wonder why a god who calls himself 'Just' would send me to Hell just because I am a Muslim/Jew/Buddhist/Pagan/etc. I HAVE led a good life.

Kick myself on the way to Hell for NOT being a Christian, I should have listened.

If there IS a hell ...

Christians often ask me what I would do if Hell does exist and Christianity is correct. Then they say it is better to believe and be wronge than to not believe and end up in Hell. And they figure I would be upset if when I die I find out Christianity was correct. But...

On principle I would be glad to be in Hell rather than with a god who told his followers to kill every child, woman and man in city after city, and to rape the very young females and make them slaves for the men. I would also not want to be within a million light years of a god who would condem a soul forever just for calling him/her by the wrong name or believing something a little different or for interpreting the bible a little wrong. He just seems very violent and egotistical ... very unlike the way I picture a God to be like in so many ways. I was wondering how other non-christians felt about it.

At the same time I would wonder why a true god would damn people for not believing, even though they lived a very moral life,

and then I would wondr if the under-world could overthrow this God and make it so EVERY one could live the afterlife without being tortured!! :evil_laugh:

I must admit I did not vote. Even when I was a Christian I questioned the existence of Hell. Now more than ever, I know there is not one.

Simple math.

Hell and God does not calculate.

How about an option for:

"There is absolutely no reason to believe in such a place. It doesn't even cross my mind."

Well, it won't happen, but if it did I think I'd rather go to hell. If God is sending me to hell for being who I am then I think I'd rather be with Satan who doesn't care where you come from.

I've actually been thinking about this again recently and the most correct answer I can come up with, basing it on the OP assumption that christian doctrine is, essentially, accurate, is that I would have no choice but to go to hell. I could not go to heaven knowing that someone else was suffering in hell. In fact, the only way I could be in heaven and enjoy it, if there was a hell, would be if my memory was wiped nearly completely, so it wouldn't be me anyway. Essentially it is a non-choice. I am to empathic to go to heaven.
