I came across a bizzare story about an abortionist in Kansas who is accused of eating a fetus. Now hes being charged with other things like having a messy clinic and such because there are no laws againts eating unborn babies. This got me thinking about a story I heard a while back about some german canibals. One individual willingly let another indivual who he met online eat him. So it got me thinking. Is cannibalism morally wrong? Is it wrong if the cannibalised is willing? What about cannibalising an unborn baby? The mother wished it detroyed so does it matter if someone eats the body?
OH and if anyone is curous about these stories here are some links.

Is cannibalism morally wrong? Not inherently, no, assuming nobody is being abused or consumed against their will. In a life or death situation, if I knew a person who was with me would outlive me and was in danger of starving, I would absolutely encourage them to use my body to stay alive. It's practical.
Is it wrong if the cannibalised is willing? No, I would say not, as long as everyone is a consenting adult and are fully aware of any consequences.
What about cannibalizing an unborn baby? That's a tough one. I would say it's disrespectful if it's done just for kicks and grins, when other food is readily available. In a situation where food is limited, however, I can understand it, and would pass no judgement.
The mother wished it destroyed so does it matter if someone eats the body? I believe eating an aborted fetus, while perhaps disrespectful of the fetus, is less of a moral question, and more of a question of mental health. Humans do not naturally eat each other's corpses, and a person choosing to do so for no apparent reason should be evaluated by a medical professional.
An aborted fetus, in my opinion, should be disposed of respectfully. I do believe that using aborted fetal tissue in stem cell research is perfectly respectful, but that's another issue entirely.
